5 DAYS FOR THE BBC

I’ve been working on “FROST” and  sadly it was the last two episodes. I shall miss working with that great team  at  YTV and of cause David Jason, who is a pleasure to work with. After “Frost” I had a holiday in Spain and came back to work on “Holby City”  at Elstree Studios, I had not been back to those Studios for years, in fact,  the first words I spoke on film was at the entrance to the offices, they had made it to look like an Hotel. It was on the “Saint”, Roger Moore grabbed the arm of a Villain who was running away, only the man’s coat sleeve came off in Rogers hands. I was a ‘Spanish Policeman’ who rushes up and says, (in Spanish) ‘Que parar, Sen’or’, or something close to that. Then Roger gave me a smile, raises one eyebrow, hands me the sleeve and I ‘react’  At that moment a ‘Star was Born’ somewhere in the world !  but it curtainly wasn’t at Elstree that day!

On the 23rd October, I fly to Toronto and then onto Newfoundland for a weekend of ‘Signing’  at a Sci-Fi convention. I quite enjoy meeting film fans and I get to meet follow ‘Signers’ some I haven’t seen for years. Last April when I said I would love join them in Canada in October, I had forgotten that it gets quite chilly up there at this time of year, so I have been up in the attic looking for my “North Face” jackets. Are well ‘That’s Show Biz” I will let you know how I got on!!
